A few days ago, the brewing of the new airport project in the capital has passed the State Council's deliberation. The site of the project is finally scheduled to be located in the town of Daxing, Daxing District, Beijing. Since it is adjacent to Guangyang District of Langfang, Hebei Province, one-third of the land required for the first phase of the project will be provided by Hebei Province. According to news from the China Civil Aviation North China Regional Administration ("North China Bureau"), the new airport project is expected to be completed in 2018. Industry insiders predict that demand for the aviation market in Beijing will continue to grow at a high rate between 2016 and 2018.
