Breakthrough in radio frequency identification (RFID) anti-collision algorithm research

Recently, Mr. Jia Xiaolin from Southwest University of Science and Technology, in the study of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) anti-collision algorithm by Professor Feng Quanyuan from Southwest Jiaotong University, has made a major breakthrough. The research results are at the international advanced level.
Jia Xiaolin and other academic papers published in the International Journal of Communication Systems described his latest achievements in RFID anti-collision algorithm research, and studied the characteristics and needs of large-scale RFID multi-label application systems, optimizing their previous international level. Collision tree algorithm (CT) proposed in IEEE journal on Communications and IEEE Communications Letters improves the anti-collision algorithm system based on collision tree.
Anti-collision algorithm (CT) is one of the three supporting technologies of RFID technology communication interface. At present, the international standards developed by ISO/IEC, EPCglobal and other international organizations mainly use tree algorithms such as query tree algorithm (QT), binary tree algorithm (BT), binary search algorithm (BS), and time slot type ALOHA algorithm. The tag identifies anti-collision handling. However, the recognition efficiency of these algorithms can only reach 34%-36.8%, and the recognition performance is unstable, which can not meet the actual needs of the RFID multi-tag identification application system.
The collision tree algorithm (CT) completely eliminates the null period in the RFID multi-tag identification process, and improves the label recognition efficiency to over 50%, which breaks the long-term efficiency bottleneck in the anti-collision algorithm research. Because its recognition performance is efficient and stable, the application implementation is simple and direct, and has complete theoretical and experimental support. The collision tree algorithm (CT) has been highly recognized by experts at home and abroad and can be used as a tree anti-collision algorithm used in current international standards. The alternative algorithm, at the same time, also laid a solid foundation for theoretical research and application promotion.
