Design of High-pressure Killing Circuits for Solar Insect Killer Lamps

After attracting the insects by the trap lamp, the design uses a high voltage electric shock method to kill it. Because some moths are relatively large, the voltage of high-voltage nets of solar insecticidal lamps must be above 6000V to achieve better insecticidal effects. The high-voltage generator circuit designed is shown in Figure 3.25:

The liter a piezoelectric route 555 timer, high-power tube 3DD15, line output transformer, self-winding high-voltage power grid and some resistance, capacitance, diodes to form.
The solar insect killer's 555 timer and its accompanying circuitry form a multivibrator that acts as a high-frequency pulse generation circuit in this circuit. The high-frequency pulse output from the 3 pin drives the 3DD15 high-power tube, which causes the high-power tube 3DD15 to conduct. The collector of the power tube is connected to the output transformer of the line, and a high voltage pulse can be induced in the secondary of the transformer. After being rectified by an internal silicon rectifier diode, a DC voltage of nearly 10,000 volts can be output.
Among them, the line output transformer T1 used in the design can be replaced with a (14 or 17 inch) black and white TV line output transformer. The output of the high voltage package will be connected to the power supply 12V, 5 feet to the collector of the 3DD15 tube, the two pins as the primary of the transformer; 4 feet for the negative end of the high voltage, high voltage positive terminal access to the line output high pressure nozzle.
