Cyanide leakage from a powerhouse in Hangzhou has caused 1 death and 6 injuries

At 10:40 a.m. on the 17th, a gas leak accident occurred in a factory building in Fuyang, Hangzhou, causing 7 people to become unconscious on the spot and was subsequently taken to the hospital. At 14:30, the reporter learned from the relevant departments in Fuyang City that one of the seven wounded people had died and another three had been rescued. Three others were still in the rescue.

According to the fire officers and soldiers who rushed to the scene to rescue, they arrived at 10:47. Before the officers and men arrived, the wounded in the accident had been sent to a nearby hospital by 120 ambulances. When the fire brigades arrived, they immediately entered the scene of the accident with the environmental protection department to conduct a continuous search and close the leak valve to confirm that no other personnel had been trapped and evacuated.

According to new sources from the Fuyang City Propaganda Office, the leaked gas was initially identified as cyanogen arsenide. Right now, the cause of the accident is still being investigated.
