·The United Nations drafts autonomous driving safety standards

Geneva-related sources on January 18, 2016 said that after the recommendations of Japan and Germany, the UN agency responsible for vehicle management has recently begun drafting a new set of international safety regulations to regulate the management of autonomous vehicles.

The World Vehicle Regulatory Coordination Forum, a division of the UN Economic Commission for Europe, is developing vehicle safety standards for more than 50 countries, including Japan, EU member states and the United States.
It is reported that the relevant regulations for road driving will be adopted as soon as possible in March next year.
