Based on the above situation, Xi'an Heavy Machinery Research Institute developed the first domestic rolling large aluminum alloy ring for Southwest Aluminum (Group) Co., Ltd.! 5000mm diameter axial CNC ring rolling machine. The working principle of the rolling ring rolling ring is shown in Figure 1.

2.1.1 host

The main engine is mainly composed of a machine base, a radial rolling, a centering mechanism, a ring car and an axial rolling.

The base is fixed on the foundation with anchor bolts, and the base is divided into two sections. The main roll is mounted on the frame bridge connected to the front base. The main roll is driven by two DC motors through a reducer. The reducer is fixed on the foundation of the basement by the anchor bolts. The main coupling of the reducer and the main roll is used. The device is connected vertically. In order to quickly replace the main rolls, the main rolls supported at both ends are placed in a replaceable main roll box. The mandrel is housed in a box mounted on a mandrel slide, the slide is provided with a horizontal roller and a vertical roller, horizontally moving on the base rail, and the rail is removed by a scraper and a blowing device Oxide and other debris.

The radial rolling hydraulic cylinder drags the mandrel slide, and the horizontal rolling force of the ring member by the mandrel and the main roller generates a radial rolling force. The mandrel is lifted and lowered with a hydraulic cylinder and can be height adjusted. A displacement sensor is provided in the lift cylinder to monitor the height position of the mandrel. A pneumatic quick clamping device is arranged at the lower part of the mandrel for easy replacement of the mandrel. The swing arm is mounted on the mandrel slide and is used for the upper end support of the mandrel during the rolling process. When the machine is loading and unloading, the swing arm swings upward with the upper support of the mandrel and the upper part of the mandrel supporting the hydraulic adjusting device. The swing of the swing arm is driven by a pair of hydraulic cylinders. The adjustment device supported on the upper part of the mandrel is also driven by a pair of hydraulic cylinders.

The centering device is supported in a circular process and the ring is placed in a central position during rolling. Two replaceable centering rolls mounted on the centering arm form the centering device. The positioning of the centering rolls is carried out by separate hydraulic cylinders. The two centering cylinders are provided with respective displacement sensors and pressure (size and cavity) sensors, and a force sensor is provided in the centering arm.

The centering roller height is adjustable. A height-adjustable rolling table is fixed on the mandrel slide for the support of the ring during the rolling process.

During the rolling process, as the diameter of the ring expands, the ring rotates on the roller path of the two ring-supporting trolleys, and the carriage can automatically move as the ring expands following the displacement of the ring axis. The hydraulic cylinders that drive the two rings are equipped with their respective displacement sensors.

The axial frame is used to mount two tapered axial rolls. The lower axial rolls are fixed in the axial frame, the upper axial rolls are mounted in the axial slides, and the axial slides are vertically movable in the axial frame. The axial rolling is completed by the downward advancement of the upper axial rolls. The axial hydraulic cylinder produces an axial rolling force. The cylinder is provided with a displacement sensor and a pressure sensor (large and small cavity). The two axial rolls are driven by a DC variable speed motor and a gear reducer, respectively. The axial frame is like the mandrel slide. Horizontal and vertical rollers are used to move horizontally on the guide rail of the machine base. The scraper and the blower are also used to remove the scale and other debris on the guide rail. The movement of the axial frame is driven by a hydraulic cylinder which moves in a direction away from the main roll as the ring diameter increases during the rolling process. In the axial frame, the upper portion of the lower axial roll is provided with a measuring roller mechanism in which a position sensor is mounted. During the rolling process, the force measuring roller, which relies on the cylinder, is always pressed against the outer diameter of the ring.

2.1.2 Hydraulic Control System In order to meet the needs of the automatic rolling process, the radial rolling hydraulic cylinder, the centering hydraulic cylinder (two), the axial rolling hydraulic cylinder and the axial frame hydraulic cylinder are all designed as servo hydraulic pressure. transmission. Displacement sensors and pressure sensors are provided in these cylinders. An angular displacement sensor is provided on the swing arm to accommodate the needs of position control and pressure control.

In order to adapt to the servo control, a pump control pressure source is provided at the pump station, which is composed of a constant pressure plunger variable pump and a bladder accumulator.

In order to adapt to proportional control, a proportional control pressure source is also provided at the pumping station, which consists of three plunger pumps and seven bladder accumulators.

In order to meet the mold clamping, adjustment and replacement, a high-pressure plunger pump with a small flow rate is specially designed, which is controlled by an electromagnetic reversing valve, which is extremely convenient to operate.

Since the main engine is large and the hydraulic cylinders are relatively dispersed, the control valve blocks are concentrated. For example, the control valve block of the pump station is concentrated on the fuel tank, and the control valve block of the radial part is concentrated at the radial end, the axial machine. The control valve block of the frame and the ring part is concentrated on the axial part end, and the control valve block of the axial rolling cavity is arranged beside the axial rolling cylinder on the axial frame, and the control valve block of the centering roll cylinder is installed On the centering cylinder.

In order to facilitate the setting of the maximum rolling force, proportional pressure valves are respectively arranged in the radial rolling transmission system and the axial rolling transmission system. Fine filters are installed at the exits of the four main pumps to ensure the high cleanliness of the oil in the system. High-precision filters are provided at the pilot control ports of the five feeding valves. A dedicated bypass circulation device is provided, which includes cooling and filtration of the oil. The pump station equipment is concentrated on the fuel tank.

The oil tank is equipped with an oil temperature oil level monitoring instrument and a high-precision air filter with a large enough capacity. The oil tank and each valve station are equipped with oil pans.

2.1.3 Lubrication system The main roll bearing, main roll support bearing, mandrel support bearing and upper and lower axial roll bearings are designed for oil mist lubrication. The main roller reducer and the two axial roller reducers are designed for thin oil lubrication. There is a thin oil lubrication station, and the oil pump is used to supply the lubricating oil of each reducer. Other sports are concentrated with grease.

2.1.4 Electrical automatic control system The system functions mainly include: main roll speed control and radial feed control; cone roller speed control and axial feed control; centering roll control; rolling ring position control ??? rolling ring positioning function To ensure the acquisition of circular workpieces; radial feed, axial feed coordination control and rolling force limitation (protection); roll diameter compensation; workpiece volume automatic distribution; workpiece hot to cold shrinkage ratio compensation; equipment automatic positioning The selection of various operating modes of the ring rolling machine, such as: work / prohibition, automatic, single action, mold change, etc.

The configuration and composition of the automatic control system: The basic configuration of the automatic control system of the rolling ring machine is that the electrical automation system adopts two-level computer control and three-layer network control structure to form the overall control system of the modern rolling ring machine. The computer control system adopts the upper and lower two-level computer control scheme, which is a computer control system integrating rolling process control, process management, automatic control and fault alarm diagnosis. The lower computer automatically controls the computer to complete all automatic control functions, and the upper computer is the process management computer to complete the system process management function.

4 Experimental verification and technical application The 5000mm diameter axial CNC ring rolling machine was successfully tested in Southwest Aluminum (Group) Co., Ltd. in July 2006, and the performance indexes of the equipment fully met the design requirements. It has created good economic and social benefits for users. Machine design innovation has been successfully applied to Qingdao φ5000mm diameter axial CNC ring rolling machine.
