The HOWO T5G driverless electric truck line control chassis software is designed according to the international advanced safety standard. After the complex model in-loop test MIL, software-in-the-loop test SIL, hardware-in-the-loop HIL test, the code is safe and reliable.

China National Heavy Duty Truck uses car networking technology, artificial intelligence deep learning and multi-sensor fusion algorithm to enable the autopilot system to have big data analysis capabilities, deep integration with the port management system (TOS), and more than 3,000 hours of port real-life testing. After multiple rounds of technical optimization iterations, the Howard T5G driverless electric truck was successfully put into operation in Tianjin Port on April 12, 2018. Up to now, it has completed a total of 7000 hours of unmanned operation.

With a 6×4 drive, the ESC system is matched to reduce the risk of rollover during cornering.

With a short wheelbase of 3.2 meters, the turning radius is effectively reduced, making steering more flexible during vehicle operation.

With dual motor direct drive type, the rated steady torque of the motor can reach 2500Nm, the maximum torque can reach 4260Nm, and the maximum power is 260kw, which ensures the reserve power space of the vehicle.

In order to further improve the parking accuracy, the transmission is eliminated, and the continuously variable transmission is realized. The motor directly connects the transmission shaft to the drive axle, which effectively reduces the vehicle cost, improves the transmission efficiency, reduces the maintenance cost, and ensures the reliability.

In order to guarantee the cruising range, a high-energy density lithium iron phosphate battery pack is used, and with China National Heavy Duty Truck's mature and reliable pure electric central drive system (high-torque motor + drive axle), it can be charged for 1 hour and fully loaded for 120 kilometers.
