Sinopec Headquarters recently issued the "Review on the Feasibility Study Report for the 80,000-ton/year Ethylbenzene Styrene Plant of Jiujiang Branch", agreeing that Jiujiang Petrochemical Company will build an 80,000-ton/year ethylbenzene-styrene plant with an annual operating time of 8000. Hours, the project's total investment of 663 million yuan, will start construction in the second half of this year. The ethylbenzene unit adopts the gas-phase dry gas manufacturing method independently developed by Sinopec to produce ethylbenzene, and the styrene unit adopts the adiabatic negative pressure dehydrogenation technology developed by Sinopec.
