Outdoor AP wireless WIFI coverage deployment considerations
Outdoor APs are deployed outdoors. What should be paid attention to to ensure the normal and stable operation of APs? We together look!
First, the waterproof of outdoor AP
Except for the AP itself to be waterproof, any other connection parts need to be waterproofed, and every time they are installed, they must be waterproofed.
Lightning protection of outdoor APs
The antenna must be installed within a 45-degree angle covered by the lightning rod. Lightning protection devices for network ports, antenna feeders, and outdoor APs must be grounded.
Third, outdoor wireless system grounding specifications
When installing the antenna and AP, the AP and all accessories must be grounded. In other words, outdoor APs, antenna feeder lightning arresters (all antenna feeder lightning arresters need to be grounded), network port lightning arresters, lightning rods must be grounded, and the grounding resistance and line length must meet the requirements. The lightning arrester and the AP are grounded. You can first connect the ground wires together and then connect them to the ground network in a unified manner (make sure that the equipment can be connected to the lightning protection ground network instead of being arbitrarily connected to other metal parts).
Fourth, other construction specifications
Route the cables according to the requirements of the design scheme. The cables must be firm and beautiful, and there must be no crossover, distortion, or damage. You need to use an outdoor dedicated network cable outdoors, and protect the exposed part with a sleeve.
Wiring is not allowed with high-voltage high-voltage pipelines, fire-fighting pipelines, and building lightning conductors to ensure that there is no interference from strong currents and strong magnetism.
It is recommended to use PVC pipe, iron pipe, plika pipe or trunking for wiring. If a metal cable is used, it should be grounded at both ends of the metal tube.
Outdoor horizontally routed PVC pipes should be used as leaks to prevent water accumulation in the pipes.
Cable through holes should be sealed with waterproof and flame retardant materials.
The pole must be firmly fixed to ensure that it cannot be mixed by shaking it hard.
