Feature.
1.Gate valve is one of the most common shut-off valve, it's mainly used for connecting or cutting the medium in pipelines;It can be used with a wide range of pressure,temperature and size,especially fit for middle and large pipelines.
2.The Stem of non-rising stem gate valve just rotate when open or close the valve,and the flashboard can go up and down inside the valve body in the meantime,so the height of this kind of valve is small.But in order to judge the on-off and position of flashboard,usually,a position indicator is installed on the bonnet.Owing to these features,non-rising stem gate valve is applicable for condition with small space or large dust,such as ship,trench,etc.
3.The structure of wedge single flashboard gate valve is simple,the size is small.It can be used for medium of normal temperature and pressure.
4.Small fluid resistance.The bore of gate valve is straight,medium doesn't change flow direction when flow through the bore,thus,the fluid resistance is small.
5.Easy open and close.Moving direction of flashboard and flow direction of medium are vertical.Comparing with globe valve,it's more easy to open and close.
6.The flow direction of medium is totally unrestricted.The medium can flow through two sides of gate valve in any direction,no matter which side the medium flow through,it can realize on/off purpose.Easy installation,applicable for pipelines in which flow direction may change.
