Frequency conversion technology can change the power supply frequency of the power equipment in real time, and then achieve the purpose of controlling the output power of the equipment. This technology changes the output power of the shaft through variable frequency speed regulation so that the motor can output power according to actual needs, achieving the purpose of reducing input power and saving electric energy. It is one of the important technical means for energy saving of induction type asynchronous motors. The characteristics of frequency conversion drive speed regulation: no need to change the original equipment including the motor itself; can realize stepless speed regulation to meet the requirements of the transmission equipment; the soft start and soft stop function of the inverter can avoid the negative impact of the starting current impact on the power grid, reducing The power capacity can also reduce the mechanical inertia, reduce mechanical losses; can be open-loop, closed-loop manual/automatic control without the influence of the power frequency; low speed, the fixed torque output and low-speed overload capability is better; the power factor of the motor Increases with increasing power at higher speeds.
In the petroleum and chemical industries, the amount of motor drive equipment such as fans, pumps, and compressors is very large. Theoretically, variable frequency technology can be used for energy-saving transformation, which has great potential for energy conservation. Taking the injection molding machine as an example, the conventional quantitative pump on the injection molding machine is transformed into a variable frequency variable displacement pump, which can minimize the return flow of the relief valve and avoid high-pressure throttling energy loss, which in turn will result in traditional high-pressure throttling. The energy-consuming injection molding machine was upgraded to an "energy-saving" injection molding machine without high-pressure throttling. The energy-saving rate could reach 20%-30% or even more.
