High-speed rice transplanter won the second prize of national technology invention

On January 8, the 2007 National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. It was learned from the conference that the results of the “Structural Innovation, Mechanism Research and Product Development of High-Speed Rice Transplanter”, which was chaired by Professor Zhao Yun of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, won the second prize of National Technology Invention.

In China, rice cultivation, especially transplanting, has always retained traditional manual work, which limits the large-scale production of rice. Therefore, the high-speed rice transplanter has become an urgently needed product for agricultural machinery and equipment in China.

In order to overcome the difficulties of the original transplanter, such as uneven amount of sputum, easy to scar, and low erectility, Zhao Quan, a professor at Zhejiang University of Technology, mainly designed this research with more than 10 years. The special device of property rights can solve two major problems. Rapid walking and rapid transplanting on rice fields can greatly improve the quality of transplanting, and is suitable for transplanting operations in small fields and hilly areas in rice producing areas in north and south of China.

Now, part of the invention has been applied to agricultural machinery production enterprises in the north and south of China, and has formed a certain industrial scale. This project has been authorized to invent 8 projects, and has been favored by many domestic large-scale agricultural machinery enterprises such as China First Tractor Factory. Only last year, the transfer fee was 2.8 million yuan.
