At the National High-level Forum on the Three Kingdoms Culture held in Suzhou on the 21st, the participating scholars proposed that the titles of the “Weiwu King” unearthed in the stone tablets were unreasonable and the tomb of Cao Cao was forged. The forum attracted 23 scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, and the study of the culture of the Three Kingdoms (Cao Cao).

"Wei Wuwang" Ship suspected of Forge

Of the stones unearthed by Cao Cao’s tomb, seven were carved with the words “Wei Wu Wang”. Regarding the rationality of the title of "Wei Wuwang" and the writing of the word "Wu", the participating scholars questioned.

Lin Kuicheng, director of the Kaifeng Wenlian Painting and Calligraphy Committee in Henan Province, believes that Cao Cao was first sealed as “Wei Gong” before being renamed “Wei Wang”. After his death, he received the nickname of “King Wu”. Cao Cao collapsed in January 25 of the Eastern Han Dynasty. After Cao Yu became the emperor in November of that year, he chased Cao Cao as the emperor of Taizu.

He pointed out that from the death of Cao Cao to Cao Yu’s tenth month of emperor’s death, the world’s strict name for Cao Cao was “Wang Wu”. No history book has accurately recorded the "Wei Wu King". In the ritual feudal society, the expression "Wei Wu Wang" appeared in the tomb of Cao Cao obviously could not be established.

Lu Qian epitaph is "buried mine"

In April 1998, Lu Qian's epitaph was unearthed, clearly indicating the specific geographical location of Cao Cao Gao Ling. The Henan cultural relics department acknowledged that Lu Qian's epitaph is one of the important evidences for the discovery of Cao Cao’s tomb.

Li Luping, chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Painting and Calligraphy Appraisal Committee, believes that Lu Qian's epitaph was forged. He said that Zhao Jianwu, who was buried by Lu Qian's epitaph, was in the eleventh year (ie, 345 AD). At that time, the Central Plains Henan area was occupied by 5 million people. According to the burial custom of the Hu people, there could be no epitaph in Anyang. He also said that several stone tablets containing the words "Weiwu King" and the word "Wu" in Lu Qian's epitaph were mistakenly written as "mountains." Experts surveyed dozens of ancestors and found nothing. This writing. The word "Wu" in Shipai's and Lu Qian's epitaph may have been performed by one person.

In addition, at the end of 2009, after Cao Cao Gao Ling was officially announced, Yan Peidong, Wang Ji, and other three scholars specifically went to investigate in Anyang, Henan Province. They said that during the investigation, the locals revealed that since 1998, Anyang cultural relics dealers have buried a lot of “good things” in the area of ​​West Gaoxue Village to defraud people of money. Commonly known as "buried mine."

“The Lu Qian epitaph is one of the 'buried land mines,'” Wang Ji said. The local villager Xu Yuchao used urine and mud to make a greener “old brick” that was twice as big as ordinary bricks and was specially fired. After giving it to a local archaeologist, the latter is still in the collection.

Huang Zhenyun, a professor of Chinese at the China University of Political Science and Law and Wei Jinshi’s expert, announced for the first time a number of new evidences. At the symposium, Huang pointed to the engraved Han stone relief image and said: "The whole image is slotted too deeply with modern tools. "In the beginning it was the tomb cheating. The purpose of the falsification was to sell money. As a result, those fake stone cards were misjudged by archaeologists." Huang Zhenyun believes that there can be no Han stone relief in the tomb of Cao Cao, because according to the ritual system, there are only 2000 or less stones.
