Chifeng Environmental Monitoring Center Station Settled

The Chifeng City Environmental Monitoring Center Station has been established as a teaching practice base by the Department of Chemistry and Environmental Sciences of Inner Mongolia Normal University for its high level of personnel, complete monitoring system, and excellent equipment. On the afternoon of July 10, 2013, the Environmental Monitoring Center Station of Chifeng City held a ceremony to mark the “Professional Practice Base for Environmental Science of Inner Mongolia Normal University”. The leaders of the Environmental Protection Bureau of Chifeng City, Environmental Monitoring Center of Chifeng City, and the Department of Chemistry and Environmental Sciences of Inner Mongolia Normal University, as well as employees of Chifeng Environmental Monitoring Center Station and environmental science students of Inner Mongolia Normal University attended the ceremony.

After the practice base is established, the students of the Department of Chemistry and Environmental Sciences of Inner Mongolia Normal University will regularly perform internship activities at the environmental monitoring station of Chifeng City. They will follow environmental monitoring business personnel to engage in practical activities such as sampling, testing, and analysis of environmental factors. The theoretical knowledge on the subject is widely applied to the practice of environmental monitoring, so as to achieve the transition from theory to practice, and lay a solid foundation for future work.
