The National Engineering Laboratory for Carbon Fiber Preparation Technology is a research and development entity combining production, study and research approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. The laboratory is based on the Shanxi Coal Chemical Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Ningbo Materials Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the participating unit. The unveiling ceremony for the National Engineering Laboratory for Carbon Fiber Preparation was held last week at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The laboratory will focus on the urgent needs of carbon fiber composite materials for major strategic tasks and key projects in aviation, aerospace, energy, transportation, etc., establish a carbon fiber preparation engineering technology platform, carry out engineering technology research, develop key equipment, and develop independent knowledge. The carbon fiber preparation technology and supporting materials of property rights form a complete set of technology and application evaluation system.
