In April 2010, ABS American Classification Society passed the JUG200 type lifting gearbox type approval of the self-elevating offshore oil drilling platform developed by Nantong Dishi, and completed the trial production of this type of lifting gearbox prototype in China. This also shows that Nantong Disch has mastered the construction specifications of this type of gearbox, breaking through the key technical nodes such as compact structure, large speed ratio and high bearing capacity. At present, the JUG454 type lifting gearbox has completed the design work and successfully passed the ABS drawing review. The prototype test work has been fully carried out; the technical drawings of the three types of locking devices of JUF400, JUF700 and JUF1050 have been submitted for ABS pattern review. The JUG two-type lifting device and the JUF three-type locking device developed by Nantong Disch according to the requirements of the world's mainstream jack-up offshore platform fully meet the rated load requirements of the existing jack-up platform, including KFELS, F&G, Gusto MSC, Baker. Marine, LeTourneau and other models of this type of platform design specifications. On July 16, 2010, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the “Reply on the project for the development of the self-elevating drilling platform lifting systemâ€, marking that the project has been included in the national high-tech ship scientific research plan.
Nantong Disch was identified as an enterprise engineering technology research center by Nantong City, which will help enterprises to further improve the level of technology research and development and independent innovation. At present, Nantong Disch has targeted the development of key equipment for COSCO Shipyard Offshore Products.
